You’re Not Alone
  • More than 6 million kids in the U.S. have asthma
  • 14% of all emergency department visits are for asthma attacks (also called flare-ups) in children ages 5-17 (CDC).
Know your asthma action plan:
  • Learn to recognize the signs of an asthma attack or flare-up early, before it becomes an emergency
  • Know when an attack becomes an emergency: call 911 or go straight to the emergency room
This site provides basic information on common asthma triggers, treatments, how to use your spacer, when to ask for help, and resources for information and support. This site is not meant to replace the advice of your provider.
